米，白米的米；雪，白雪的雪，有人用這四個字來題名字，是一個女孩子，她叫米雪。米雪這兩個字，喊起來好聽，寫出來好看，而且還深含著嬌俏，聰敏的意味，因爲米，本來就小巧，雪除了代表純潔之外，還代表冰雪聰明。
在錄影室看著米雪錄影，等候太久，於是出去走了一陣，抓著米雪的時候已是一個鐘頭以後，她說：“妳不是來了很久嗎？剛才我也看到妳，不過，我不知道妳找我。”說話的聲音，輕得好像她叫[靖哥哥]時那麽清脆。
記得開始聽她喊[靖哥哥]的時候是看[射雕]的第十集，那時，覺得她叫得很生硬，欠缺自然，漸漸地[靖哥哥]，[靖哥哥]的喊得越來越好聽，越來越生動了。除此之外，她的演技也是一集比一集好，一天比一天進步，今日的米雪和演[樓上樓下]時期的米雪，真是不可同日而語。
在她知道獲選爲[射雕]的女主角的時候，她就充滿信心要演好[黃蓉]這個角色，在這個戲裏，黃蓉的戲份多，而且性格和造型都十分討好，而米雪本人，就具有[黃蓉]那種嬌巧、挑皮、聰明的條件。
不過這樣還不夠的，米雪也知道，所以她先看過原著，仔細摸索黃蓉的性情，留意黃蓉身邊的人物，細味黃蓉的經歷和遭遇，然後她還得抽出三個月時間去學習挙、劍術、反應，借力和消力的效果，雖然只有三個月不足的時間，但是，米雪在螢幕上的表現是運用自如，恰到好處。
[射雕英雄傳]每次的錄影時間是在早上九時至翌日九時，隔日進行一次錄影，換言之是二十四小時工作，有時拍至深夜的時候，由於日間消耗體力太多，抵抗力自然弱了，米雪嘲之這是饑寒交迫的時候。
不過，有辛苦也有快樂，有耕耘自然有收穫，米雪因爲演[射雕]而聲名大噪，記得當天我們在佳視後山拍照的時候，一些路過的人都停下來，指指點點地說：“黃蓉呀！”直把這位俏俠女指得滿面通紅，芳心裏卻是暗暗歡喜。
I have waited for her outside the
recording studio for a very long time and intended to go out to catch some
breath. It was an hour later when I caught her sight.
“Weren’t you here for quite some time? I have noticed you
earlier but I have no idea that you were waiting for me,” this is the
first thing she told me. Her voice was clear, being the same and
resounding voice that called out for Brother Jing.
From the very start, I heard her calling out for “Brother
Jing” when I watched the tenth episodes of LOCH. Initially, I felt that she was rather stiff and was lacking
of naturalness. However, as time grew, I began to use to her calling for
Brother Jing. In fact, it sounded very nice and pleasing when she called
out. Moreover, her acting is improving as time to time, episodes to
episodes. Her current acting was much better than the one in Ups And
Downs. This is really a tremendous improvement!
When she knew she was chosen for acting as Wong Yong, she aspired
to play the role well. In this serial, Wong Yong is the main key since her
character and looks were fawningly good. She, herself possessed Wong Yong’s
intelligence, piquancy and wits.
She knew that this was not enough, hence she read up the novel and
tried to capture Wong Yong’s expression and character. She imagined
herself as Wong Yong, and tried to sense Wong’s reaction in several
crises. Later, she would spend the three months on practising the fighting
skills, swordplay and reactivity. Though three months were insufficient, her performance was applauded –
she performed very well in front of the audience.
LOCH’s recording time was from nine in the morning till nine in
the next day’s morning. It can be considered as working non-stop for 24
hours. As when the filming is over, she regarded that time as a time of
hunger and cold.
However, there may be sorrow; there are times of happiness too. As
the saying goes, “You reap what you sow”. This proves to be a correct
statement for her. LOCH had brought her fame; as on the day we were
supposed to take a picture of the whole serial, she was easily recognized
by the public of “Wong Yong”. She, in fact, was blushing and happy in
the bottom of her heart. She is none other than the great beauty, Michelle
Yim.
